We always take pride in what goes onto our skin, especially because we know what it’s like to be pregnant, a nursing mom, an athlete, battling some type of illness, have children to care for, or just all-around health conscious. Our affordable skincare line is created by a Vegan company with very high standards for research, ingredients used and quality. Recently, the “Vogue” Beauty Blog Editor announced that she was using a little unknown secret—“Arbonne.” My family and I are proud consumers of Arbonne as well, and our skin thanks us every time we do. After years of traveling the world shopping flea markets, specialty vendors and luxury jewelers, the self-taught artist began crafting her own pieces with a straight forward mission: to create simple, timeless pieces that layer, stack, mix and match effortlessly at an affordable price point. This mission, combined with inspirations drawen from flora, fauna and the organic shapescreated by nature, have become the fundamental elements behind Chari, a unique collection of functional pieces for everyday wear.

Chari works in sterling silver and gold filled chain, complimented by unexpected burst of color and texture from fresh water pearls, raw rubies, pyrite, turquoise, labradorite and other semi precious beads.

"I've seen a lot of Eco-friendly and/or recycled glass jewelry out there but, what I was looking for were art pieces, where each would be so unique. After searching through over fifty different green vendors and artists, I finally came across an artist--Fani, who created the most beautiful, individual pieces of art that I had ever seen. I wanted to offer something to my clients that I would be proud to wear and show-off. Fani's designs captures "exploration of artistic nature," objects and rare style. Each piece is numbered and signed to give it that art character, making them limited editions. Fani has been creating jewelry for over 10-years and her artwork is made to inspire women, help them feel beautiful and special. She believes in "art's power to inspire emotion." Lash Sleeve
"After years of experimenting with waterproof make-up, especially waterproof mascara, I pretty much threw my hand's-up at the idea that no matter what I did, raccoon eyes would be a part of the deal, not to mention, the better the mascara worked, I would have to invest in additional eye make-up removers that still required some rubbing to get it completely off, which meant, more money. I gave up at the idea that there would ever be a non-toxic, waterproof mascara that would work in ocean (salt) water, sudden changes in temperatures, humidity, sweat, rubbing, tears, and even sleeping. Until now--Lash Sleeve is truly a miracle. Let me tell you, I was SUPER skeptical but, decided to try it since I really didn't have anything to lose. I was SO used to sticking my finger under my eyes throughout the day because of the natural oils, that I would do it subconsciously. Funny thing was, I didn't have anything to rub away. Yup, no raccoon eyes for the whole day. So, I decided to take this mascara to the next level and try it under every and all extreme conditions I could think of. 3 months later, the results were the same. It DID NOT come off unless I took it off with fresh, warm water. Incredible! And it's safe for contact lens wearers. The price is reasonable and the formula goes on light and wet, not thick and clumpy. If you want thicker lashes, apply a few coats but wait a few seconds for the previous coat to dry. When you take it off for the first time, don't be alarmed when you see the little black fibers. They look like your lashes but, you'll see that your lashes will be in tact. My heart stopped the first time because I thought those fibers were my lashes and seeing as I don't have a lot to begin with, I started to kick myself for using "me" as a test subject! Thankfully, my lashes were all in tact and it simply was the sleeves that slid off. So, give your eyes a break from all the rubbing (wrinkles) and extra chemicals by trying a tube of "Lash Sleeve." You won't be disappointed and if anything else, what have you got to lose right?"

You don't have to be a yoga enthusiast to appreciate Rescue Girl gifts. Arbonne
It always amazes me when you come across a new product that you just can't get enough of. My girlfriend had sent me Arbonne's ABC Baby Care products for my baby shower. And as you all know, Color Me Green was created because of my pregnancy. I have been a real stickler for staying away from chemicals and anything toxic. So, putting anything on my skin, let alone my baby's is something I don't take lightly. It's all about the research and I take the time, all the time I need to research and test out a product before giving it a green light. I had a bunch of organic baby products lined up to use for when my daughter was born and I had never heard anything about Arbonne so, to be honest with you, I kept it in the back of the storage drawer (sorry Danielle!). When my daughter ended up with serious eczema. I tried EVERYTHING!! Everything from heavily perfumed "Mustela" to things I read up on like "Cetaphil." Sad to say, all the organics had failed me even pure virgin organic coconut oil. It was killing me to see those inflamed red patches all over her delicate little skin. And when she started to itch at them, well, I started to think I was going to have to resort to a cream with steroids in them--doctor's orders! I took everyone's advice and to be honest with you, nothing worked. When I came across the ABC products, I slapped it on. What did I have to lose right? Well, with a combination of that and oatmeal powder, the ABC moisturizing lotion and body wash helped re-moisturize her skin and stopped those patches from pulling on the skin!! It had gotten my attention indeed.

It wasn't until my daughter ended up with an extreme case of diaper rash. The rash was so bad she would scream every time she wet her diaper and would pull my hand's away from having to mess with her diaper. Oh the suffering! I tried the ABC herbal diaper rash cream and when all other organic creams had failed me (once again), the thickness of the cream helped to act as a barrier against the wetness. Plus, the herbal concoction helped to heal her rash fairly quickly. Amazing! Arbonne got my attention and I called my girlfriend to ask her all about the company. To my surprise, I had found out that Arbonne is a Swiss VEGAN company, run by everyday women like you and me, and pride's itself on quality. I decided to test out a bunch of other products that I was always very picky about--suncare, make-up, pretty much anything that goes on my skin. After all, we only have one and no one's going to take care of it but ourselves right? What can I say, I used myself as a guinea pig once again and fell in love with the products. My girlfriend has been using Arbonne for herself, her three kids and family for years now, and can't say enough good things about it. I always say, let the products speak for themselves. That's why I have samples for you to take home and test out. Everyone's preference is different but, I can tell you that the company definitely doesn't skimp on quality and the fact that it's botanically based, Vegan, AND it works, well, you be the judge.
